Greenfield Exploration is a mineral exploration company, owned by Copperman, exclusively focused in the Antofagasta Region II of Northern Chile which is prolifically endowed with the largest porphyry copper discoveries globally along the Domeyko Fault Zone. Since the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) in 2008 most companies have retracted from the exploration world creating an immense need for risk capital willing to take on long-term time horizons associated with early stage greenfield exploration, as well as the capability with scientific tools, finances and practical experience required to achieve mineral exploration success.
We have developed proprietary exploration tools from decades of experience of our senior management team and are commencing exploration on our 3,000ha Luna Project located between the Escondida copper-gold-moly mine (the largest copper mine in globally) and the El Peñon gold mine (the largest gold mine in Chile). Our exploratory tools include traditional methods such as geochemistry, geophysics, geology, satellite imaging with LANDSAT and ASTER, airborne ZTEM, magnetotellurics, calcography and petrography; as well as proprietary targeting tools involving hydrogechemistry, pattern recognition from selective classification via satellite imaging and prospector led discovery with experience that has resulted in over 30 million ounces of high-grade gold being discovered by our Chairman’s exploration team in the Andes.
